I am SO happy it’s Friday! I had a quick turnaround trip to Chicago and back on Sunday which has made the week seem a little bit longer than usual. Couple that with some busy days at work means I am ready for a slow couple of weekend days!
I’m back with another round of Friday Favorites.
You might have been like me the past two weeks seeing so many wonderful ladies in the sewing world raving about Cricut and the projects they’re doing with theirs as part of the Cricut blog tour. It totally convinced me to get my own and it came yesterday! I love it already. I feel like in addition to lots and lots of sewing this weekend, I will also be getting acquainted with this new toy! Want to see all the amazing projects in the blog tour? Make sure to check out Sweet Red Poppy’s post here (and you can enter to win your own Cricut too!!)
Speaking of amazingly talented sewists, have you been following along with #AnOrlaAffair this month? It has been so amazing to see all the versions of the Orla dress and how one pattern can be transformed so many ways! Check out the Instagram hashtag #AnOrlaAffair for all the inspiration!
Hey June Handmade came out with a new pattern yesterday that immediately went to the top of my to-sew list! I love [and honestly miss] jean skirts! I wore them ALL the time in high school and now can’t wait to sew up this pattern. As I’m writing this [on Thursday night] it’s printing! Thinking of sewing your first pair of jeans or giving the Sandbridge Skirt a try? Make sure to swing by my post from Monday – the Beginners Guide to Sewing Your Own Jeans!
Any other planner girls out there? I am totally addicted and I am currently loving my Erin Condren Life Planner. I use it to keep track of so many different things but on Thursday I usually set out my weekend sewing plans and any deadlines I have to remember. Do you use a planner? Which ones your favorite?
Hope you all have a great weekend! Make sure to follow along for my weekend of sewing on my Instagram stories this weekend! What’s on your weekend plans?
