So glad that it’s Friday. The past couple weeks have been long and the weekends have been short but I’m lucky to have today off so I’m looking forward to savoring every minute of the weekend. I’m back here sharing a few of my favorites from the week that I hope will be your dose of inspiration, retail therapy and motivation to get you to the end of your work week!
Pre-Made Bias Tape
My local sewing shop (and source of endless sewing inspiration) Stitch Sew Shop posted a photo of tons and tons of pre-made bias tape that she’s now stocking. Kalle and I have very different opinions on pre-made bias tape (she’s a tried and true believe in making your own bias tape and I’m….lazy). When I saw her post this post this week I just about squeeled!
If you’re a pre-made bias tape fan like myself here are some of my favorite places to shop for pre-made bias tape both on Etsy and now locally:
Stitch Sew Shop – I mean, just look at all those beautiful rolls of bias tape! I’m a big fan of the florals and the polka dot tape. If you’re not local, she takes phone or email orders too!
TheFeltPod on Etsy – This is where I got the bias tape for my Sandbridge Skirt and they have so many options including Liberty and Rifle Paper Co.
Bessie Pearl Textiles on Etsy – She’s on a short break on Etsy right now but I would encourage you to check her out once she returns. I purchased solid bias tape from her and loved it. I used it for my Adya Top.
So Biased on Etsy – I haven’t purchased from So Biased before, but I’ve heard really great things. Look at the tropical palm tree bias tape! I think I need this in my life…
I ordered labels for myself back in January and used my blog logo. It was so easy to do and I love them! You can see them above in my Sandbridge Skirt. Such a fun addition to my handmade items and make them look so professional! Do you have your own labels? If not, make sure to check out Dutch Label Shop!
- Tinder Couple Meets!
Two weeks ago in my Friday Favorites I shared this Buzzfeed article about these two college students who have been keeping up a joke on Tinder for 3 years. Well, they met in person. And it was SO cute! I could not stop smiling while watching.
That’s all I got for this week! Hope you have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you all next week for #MeMadeMonday [what should I make??].

I always make my bias tape 🙂 but I’m a quilter so it’s pretty second nature though still obnoxious:) when you’re buying pre-meeting without a project in mind do you have ago to length to purchase?
Also I second Dutch label shop 🙂 I love my labels, it’s so fun! Plus helps me know the back of my tees 😉
**pre-made bias tape not pre-meeting dang autocorrect.
I usually purchase at least 5 yards as that usually is enough for a neckband, arm holes, and hem on a top. Totally agree on knowing the back of your tees – I never realized how important tags were to my brain till I didn’t have them!
I think of you every time I use bias tape now ? You’re going to have to let me know if you’re ever in St. Louis now! ❤️
Haha! Same to you if you make it over to DC!! Good luck with your move! xoxo
