Happy Thursday! I’m excited to be sharing my first project as a member of the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network a Sheath Dress from The Avid Seamstress it in a beautiful rayon from the Minerva Crafts website!
The Sheath Dress comes together so quickly due to the dolman sleeve silhouette. The pattern only had 3 pieces because I left off the pockets (front piece and 2 back pieces). The pattern also requires a 40 cm/16” invisible zipper and 1 meter of elastic.
I chose this beautiful floral print Dressmaking Fabric that was a perfect fit for a fall dress. It would also work so well for any drapey blouses for fall as well. Nothing screams fall like these colors.
I have some other great garments planned for my first couple projects with the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network so I can’t wait to share more! Make sure to swing by the Minerva Crafts Blog today to read all about this Sheath Dress and I’d love to hear how you’re transitioning to fall sewing!
