Happy Friday (my absolute favorite day of the week!)!! It’s been a long week after a busy weekend last weekend celebrating a friend’s wedding so I am so happy to report, I have nothing on the schedule for this weekend besides sewing and the normal weekend to-dos.
I’ll actually be back on the blog tomorrow sharing another fun thing I made for a blogger network, but I still wanted to send you off to the weekend with a few of my favorites from the week!
My Cricut Maker with a monogram in Lilly Pulitzer Vinyl!
Blank Slate Sewing Team
I am so excited to be apart of the Blank Slate Sewing Team for 2017-2018 with some of my favorite blogging friends! Make sure to check out the intro post here which introduces all of us and shares everyone’s blog + social media handles. I am so excited to get started on the posts for the year and Melly has come up with some great themes. Stay tuned for more!
Love to Sew Podcast
Did you all see that Helen from Helen’s Closet and Caroline from Blackbird Fabrics started a podcast?? It’s amazing. There are three episodes out now and more to come. It’s the perfect sewing entertainment (sewtainment?). I know it’s what I’ll be listening to this weekend while sewing away on things!
Fringe Dress and Blouse Pattern
Have you been seeing all the beautiful Fringe Dresses and Blouses popping up on instagram and the blogging world this week? So much inspiration! If you haven’t had a chance to grab the pattern, make sure you do so before Monday while it’s on sale! Some of my favorites include Lara’s mauve rayon version, Heidi’s rayon voile version, and Maddie’s rayon version [and her parent’s beautiful backyard…..I’m obsessed]. So many other amazing versions on Instagram, make sure to check out #FringeDressPattern!
The Cricut Maker was released and I treated myself to one! It’s amazing! I had a chance to play around with it a little this past week, but plan on playing more with it this weekend. Of course, I had to put a monogram on it with this Lilly Pulitzer vinyl! I’ll be sharing my thoughts on it along with some project inspiration about it next week. I thought this post from Melissa of the Polka Dot Chair was so informative with all the FAQs about the Maker!
That’s all for today – have a great weekend!
