Happy Friday! Another month of 2017 is coming to a close (how??) but today I wanted to share my monthly favorites for September!
Most Popular Posts of the Month:
Favorite Tee – I was so excited to find another great tee pattern that went straight to the top of my favorite tees list (I suppose the name speaks for itself!). I have been making a few Patterns for Pirates patterns this month and all of them will be repeat patterns for me!
Falling for Fall | Style Maker Fabrics Fall Blog Tour – Yesterday I shared my look for the Style Maker Fabrics Fall Blog Tour! Have you been following along on the tour – make sure to check out Michelle’s intro post here and check out everyone’s makes on the tour! Today, Tori from the Doing Things Blog is revealing her look!
Libra Cardigan – Everyone was loving the Libra Cardigan that released this month from See Kate Sew. It is such a comfy layering piece for the fall and winter!
Favorites of the Month:
Sew Photo Hop – I committed to sticking with the #SewPhotoHop photo challenge and I did it! It’s been so fun thinking back about my sewing, favorite makes, favorite notions and why I sew. I shared a post of Why I Sew earlier this month in line with the prompt for that day! I’ve also loved getting to know other sewists this month too.
Erin Condren Life Planner – In busy months, this is my life saver. I use one for my blog and one for my general life stuff. It has kept me sane this month! If you wanna give the Life Planner a try, you can use this link for $10 off your first purchase!
Books I read this Month:
I listened four books this month (mostly while sewing!) and I loved two and though two were okay. Are we friends on Goodreads? I’m always looking for ideas for new books to read and listen to!
Defending Jacob – This has been a book I’ve owned since college that I never got around to reading. It may make my favorite books for the year. It’s a tale of nature vs nurture and whether the murder gene is real and it’s effect on those with it. It is so compelling and interesting and I was just dying to learn what happened next.
The Good Daughter – I read The Pretty Girls last month by Karen Slaughter and wanted to give this another try too. It also is going to be the book club read for the Skimm this month so I wanted to read it. I loved this book! It’s another thriller about a murder that wrecked havoc on a family when the daughters were young and when a tragedy happens in their town as adults how it brings what happened when they were children all back. I highly recommend it!
I See London I See France – I think this book was okay. It was definitely light hearted about two girls in college who jet off to Europe for the summer. Perhaps I’m beyond the whiney teenage phase of my life, but it was a little far fetched and just okay. That’s not to say that I won’t read the second book in the series though hah!
Class Mom – Another light hearted book this month about a class mom of a kindergarten class and it was really funny! It was written in emails and narrative.
Those are all my favorites for the month! What are some of your favorites?

You must listen to A Gentleman in Moscow. It is a great story and the audio version is so well done! Put it on your list!
Adding it to my list now! Thanks for the suggestion!
