Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing my October favorites to wrap up the month of October – in case you missed it, I shared my October makes on Wednesday.
Most Popular Posts of the Month:
Camp Workroom Social Recaps – I had such an amazing time at Camp Workroom social and tried to capture all the magic of camp in my two posts from this month (part 1 here and part 2 here).
Ellsworth Coat – Sticking with the Camp Workroom Social theme – I shared my finished coat from my intensive at Camp and why I ultimately won the Muppet Wrangler Award at Camp!
Halifax Hoodie – Just from earlier this week, I shared my Halifax Hoodie and my love of french terry!
Exposed Zipper Tutorial – One of the most asked question I get whenever I share an Alberta Street Pencil Skirt is how I sewed the exposed zipper. I shared a quick tutorial of how I add an exposed zipper to garments!
Favorites of the Month:
Truth be told, I didn’t have much to share this month in this category – it’s just been a crazy month of work that hasn’t given me tons of free time. So instead this month, I decided to share new patterns that I’m dying to try out!
Lecche Blouse – This blouse is another great work wear piece and it looks so beautiful while still being super comfy! It’s on my to-sew list for the next month (I already purchased the pattern!)
Phoebe Dress – I’ve been eyeing this one since it came out a few months ago and this month it’s happening. Another great work option!
Pieces from the Indiesew Fall/Winter Collection – The Cora Top, Tamrack Jacket and Matcha Top are all patterns I really want to try out! I bought a lot of the fabric from the collection and want to use it for some of my pieces.
Books I Read:
None! What???? I wasn’t in the car that much and the majority of my sewing time was really fragmented so I didn’t even listen to books then. I have plans to read lots of books on vacation this month so stay tuned! I’ll have some to share next month. Did you read any books I should bring along on vacation??
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend everyone!
