I am just so inspired by everything that you all are sharing on Instagram for Me Made May! I unfortunately have lots of work travel this month + an upcoming move that is keeping me away from my sewing machine. But I was thinking back on my own handmade wardrobe and rounded up 5 easy knit dresses to spruce up your handmade wardrobe. Just like my easy patterns I shared a few weeks ago, these are all dresses you can easily sew up in a day [a major win around here!]

One | The Molly Dress
I love everything about this dress – the dolman sleeve, the neckline and the length are all my favorite. I wear this dress all the time to work. I used a double knit from Style Maker Fabrics for mine and would recommend that fabric or a ponte for the dress. You can read more about my Molly Dress here.

Two | The Panama Tee Dress
The Panama Tee Dress is about as classic of a t-shirt dress as you ca get. It features a set in sleeve and an above the knee length. I sewed mine up in a french terry (I think this would be a similar fabric) but it would also be dressier in a ponte knit too. You can read more about my Panama Tee Dress here.

Three | The Heather Dress
Another Sew Over It favorite – I fell in love with this dress the minute it came out. After I pondered for far too long what to make it out of, I went with a classic navy ponte. I love the pockets on this dress – perfect to carry your phone with you! Read more about my Heather Dress here.

Four | The Aldaia Dress
This dress just makes me feel so feminine – the skirt makes you want to twirl and twirl. Paired in a bright color it’s perfect for all occasions from work to weekend nights out! You can read about my Aldaia dress here.

Five | The Lodo Dress
I don’t know why I haven’t made more of these! I made my first one in a move actually (by accident – oops!). It’s such an easy dress to wear! You can read about my Lodo dress here.

Knit dresses are the best because they come together so quickly (hellooooo serger!) and require minimum work on your actual sewing machine if you so choose! My favorite knit notions are a good double needle, some awesome hem tape and wonder clips.
Happy sewing and here’s to cheering each other on in the last part of Me Made May!
The Aldaia dress is one of my favorites too! So flattering and comfortable
