A Blank Canvas
My husband and I have lived together for almost 3 years (and have been married for almost 3 years) and in that time, we have never hung a picture in our home – like what?! We are so lazy….We have so many beautiful photos from our wedding and engagement but I never knew exactly how to get them framed and where to hang them – enter Framebridge.
I’ve chatted about this on Instagram, but I used Modsy to help me come up with decorating ideas for our bedroom and fourth floor loft. Modsy really helps those of us who are a little design challenged an easy way to see how a room could come together. Using their room concepts as inspiration, I decided that getting some of our wedding photos framed above our bed was the perfect touch for our bedroom.

Picture Perfect
We had so many beautiful wedding photos – the day was just what I imagined it would be and more, but one of the things I loved the most were the “details” – the flowers, place settings and decor [you can see more of our wedding here]. It was just so me that those are some of my favorite wedding photos. At our place settings we had custom napkins and custom calligraphy place settings (calligraphy by Laura Hooper Calligraphy) for the head table which I just loved. Our wedding photographer took photos of both my and my husband’s place setting which seemed like the perfect details to put above our bed with a portrait of us in the middle.
Enter Framebridge
Framing can be SO hard – what size to choose, how to get our digital files printed and then subsequently how to get them framed? Framebridge takes all the guesswork out of it. I think I ordered these three pictures in approximately 10 minutes. I uploaded the three photos, picked a frame and ordered them. I knew I wanted a silver frame so that limited the choices, but Framebridge even has a free designer service if you’re not sure what exactly you are looking for.
After the file uploaded, Framebridge recommended a size and I was able to see what that size looked like in a room to determine if it would be the appropriate size for the wall I was placing them on. I chose the Buckhead Frame with a white mat and size 22.75″ x 27.67″. Each framed picture was $99 including the frame and printing the photo. 4 days later, the frames arrived with all the hardware to hang them at my door.
I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that these turned out so well (plus they were really affordable!) and I have a coupon code so that you too can dress up the walls in your home. You can also print photos directly from Instagram and I want to print some detail shots of my favorite makes for my sewing room!
Framebridge has a coupon code for $20 off your first order of $175 or more using code TWENTY175 so that you too can start framing all those beautiful photos in your photo lives!
