Fall is really coming at Northern Virginia hard this year – normally we don’t see cooler temperatures until closer to October. My Fall Tee wardrobe needed a little refresh so I sewed up a new Ebony Tee and this pattern never ceases to amaze me. The Pattern The Ebony Tee from Closet Case Patterns is one of my favorite fall/winter staple patterns. I have made three versions of it before, but wanted to sew up some new versions for this fall and winter. The pattern comes with three views and a ... View Post
Month in Review | My March Makes
I am really bad at planning the month of makes ahead of time, so moving forward, I've decided to have a monthly round up of my makes for the month. March was a busy month - coming out of my busiest time of the year at work and all the amazing patterns that were released this month led to a lot of sewing! I added 9 garments to my handmade closet this month. Tops: Ebony Tee from Closet Case Patterns in a jersey from Stitch Sew Shop Bonn Shirt from Itch to Stitch in a chambray ... View Post
Me Made Monday: Ginger Jeans and Ebony Tee + Sew Your Dream Jeans Review

Me Made Monday – Ebony Tee
I have been a big Closet Case Pattern fan since I made my first pair of Ginger Jeans (worn above!) earlier this fall. She just came out with a new pattern - The Ebony Tee - and I couldn't wait to sew it up! This was such a great Friday night sewing project. I had been seeing them ... View Post

My sewing machine is also being repaired further throwing me into a sewing daydream! So, hopefully you find inspiration in some of my favorites from the week. I'd love to hear what you've been day dreaming about in the comments! I've wrapped up my #SewMyStyle ... View Post
